Sign up below if you would like to stay open late for Trick or Treating or apply for a $250 Micro Grant to host your own experiential, interactive or performance event during the Pumpkin Palooza!
Pumpkin Palooza Open Late
We encourage businesses to participate in the Trick or Treat from 6-8pm. For those who are open or hosting* we are pleased to offer extra Halloween candy for Trick or Treat and a pumpkin for decor. Please sign up using the form to receive your extra candy. The subsidy may not cover all your candy needs for the evening, so please ensure you purchase enough to accommodate the visitors to the event.
BONUS OPPORTUNITY! We’re looking for a location to feature our BOO light-up marquee during the evening Trick-or-Treat! If you have space for an Instagram-worthy photo op and access to an electrical outlet, we’d love to hear from you. The BOO marquee is approximately 7 ft long and will make a perfect backdrop for festive photos. If you’re interested in hosting it, please indicate below on your application.

Pumpkin Palooza
Micro Grant Application
Local businesses are invited to apply for a $250 Pumpkin Palooza Micro Grant to help bring extra Halloween spirit to town during the event on Saturday, October 25th, from 3–8 PM.
Grants can be used toward Halloween-themed music, interactive characters, instagram worthy photo ops, or other creative Halloween activities to enhance the day’s festivities. To receive funding, receipts from vendors are required, and grants will cover the cost of the item or service up to $250.
We thank everyone who applies; however, please note there are a limited number of grants available, and not all applicants may be selected.
Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.

Take part in the Village Christmas Tree Program!
Join us in bringing the holiday spirit to life by lining the streets with beautiful, matching Christmas trees with warm white lights. Let’s make St. Jacobs sparkle even more this season and create a festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy!
John's Nursery is supplying us with a mix of 6' - 7' Spruce and Fir again for 2025. If you have lights from last year, you can simply sign up for the tree package! The basic tree stands are a sturdy 2x4 configuration.

Once you place your order you will be invoiced by the BIA.
We leave these trees up throughout Christmas and if they last through to Family Day. Disposal will be arranged in February.

Due to overwhelming feedback of both visitors and businesses last year, we would like to continue to amplify the festive spirit by extending business hours as follows:
Thursday until 8pm
Friday until 9pm
Saturday until 9pm
Sunday until 5pm
Performance and interactive programming provided by the BIA will follow along these hours.
